Yoko

Yoko is Shinji's girlfriend, though their relationship is defined by deep ambiguity. She spends much of her time with Haru while secretly maintaining her devotion to Shinji. This internal conflict becomes clear when Shinji accompanies Hirota back to headquarters on what looks like a date, exposing the depth of her unspoken feelings. Despite Shinji’s frequent dismissal of her, Yoko remains genuinely caring toward him, making their connection both complex and unstable.
