Gennai

Gennai serves as a guide to the Digital World, first appearing to the DigiDestined after the conflict with Devimon. While he claims to be composed of data, he possesses qualities that go beyond those of a typical Digimon. He initially appeared as an elderly man, but shifted into a younger figure wearing a hooded robe similar to a Jedi Knight once Kari revealed the history of the Digital World. Alongside his companions, he played a key role in creating the Digivices, Tags, and Crests, and was responsible for selecting the Chosen Digimon.
