Videl grew up in the public eye as the daughter of the world-famous Mr. Satan. A tough-spirited martial artist from Satan City, she initially trained to match her father's skill, though her natural talent eventually surpassed his. While patrolling the streets as a crime-fighter, she became interested in Gohan after discovering his secret identity as the Great Saiyaman. Driven and bold, she later pushed Gohan to teach her how to fly and to compete alongside her in the 25th Tenka'ichi Budokai.
