Kyou Souma

Kyou Souma carries a heavy curse: whenever he is embraced by a woman, he transforms into a cat-like creature. A member of the Soma clan, he blames his rival, Yuki, for this fate. While his outward behavior is aggressive and aloof, Kyou shows a softer side as he develops a bond with Tohru Honda. Having been separated from his family since childhood, he pours his frustration into martial arts training to eventually surpass Yuki. His deep respect for his master drives his determination to succeed.
