Although initially defiant and prone to insulting his master, the creature eventually submits to Shu’s command following a climactic struggle against Ivanov and Gustav. Beneath his biting criticism lies a deeply violent and cold-hearted nature, as the beast possesses a purely selfish temperament that disregards the well-being of everyone except himself.
