Bason

Bason is an ancient Chinese warrior spirit who has served the Tao family for generations. While he initially presents himself as a cold, disciplined guardian, his relationship with Ren evolves from strict service into a deep, heartfelt companionship. He acts as a steadfast friend and rival to Amidamaru, wielding a powerful kwan dao in battle. Bason can augment Ren's physical strength or transform into a massive giant capable of launching fireballs. Though he is driven by a fierce sense of duty, his loyalty to Ren transcends simple servitude.
