Haruko Ueki

This character is the adoptive mother of Ueki, who tragically passed away in a car accident the same day Ueki arrived on Earth. She holds a unique place in the narrative as the first being encountered by God on Earth twenty years before his ascension as a god, while she was a high school student. She has a boyfriend who is a writer, a profession also shared by Gengoro. Her daughter strongly resembles her, though she styles her hair in a ponytail.
