Trained as an ice sorceress under the mentorship of Clef, this powerful mage was originally destined to serve the Pillar. However, her life took a dramatic turn when she became devoted to the high priest, Zagato. Though she serves him faithfully, her intense romantic feelings remain entirely unrequited. While her name is sometimes spelled Alcione in older English translations, she remains a tragic figure driven by a singular, one-sided passion for her master.
