Yuuji Endou

Yuuji Endou is a loan shark with deep yakuza connections who exploits desperate people through illegal, astronomical interest rates. He pursues Kaiji after a shared client defaults on a massive debt that Kaiji had cosigned. Because the debt cannot be settled through traditional means, Endou presents an alternative: joining the gambling ship Espoir to attempt to win enough money to clear the balance.
