Joe Buttataki, the "Mole Hunter," arrived at Shibusen to investigate potential spies within the organization. He possesses an intense soul perception that allows him to detect hidden threats, such as the snake lurking inside Marie Mjolnir. As Marie's ex-boyfriend, he previously distanced himself from her to prevent his increasing powers from exposing her secrets. While he considers his ability to mistrust his own allies a burden, he can effectively pierce a witch's human disguise.
