Enjin Hiizumi serves as the primary antagonist, driven by a mysterious desire to shatter the city's protective barrier. He lacks a physical form, instead possessing the body of Gin, a wolf-youkai. This occupation forces a personal conflict at the center of the story, as Gin is the older brother of Ao and a long-time friend to both Hime and Akina.
