Melon serves as the primary antagonist during the "Revenge of the Love Failure" arc of Beastars. As a hybrid, he possesses a unique blend of traits from both parents. He initially operates as a fraudulent elephant therapist, using his position to murder patients and harvest their tusks for illegal ivory profits. His deceptive persona and pursuit of wealth drive his actions throughout the storyline.
