Kurou

Raised at Kurama Temple after surviving the Heiji Rebellion, this legendary swordsman rose to prominence during the Genpei War. Alongside his loyal companion Benkei, he secured decisive victories against the Taira clan, including the monumental Battle of Dan-no-ura. Despite his military brilliance and kinship with Yoritomo, his eventual rebellion against his brother led to a tragic end. Forced into seppuku following a betrayal in Mutsu, his life remains a cornerstone of Japanese folklore and tragic heroism.
