Possessing the unique ability to perceive and eliminate demons, he commands the government's Demon Extermination Squad. His main objective is to force the protagonist to void a contract with Haruka, believing this will restore his memories and grant him control over the demon-eating tengu he seeks to vanquish. He harbors resentment over the protagonist's success in unsealing the tengu, a feat he himself failed to achieve, and is accompanied by allies Watanabe and Ibaragi, wielding a legendary sword.
