Often referred to as Veneziano, this cheerful and affectionate personification of Northern Italy serves as the series' central protagonist. Though he struggles to live up to the legendary legacy of his grandfather, the Roman Empire, his kindhearted and bubbly nature makes him a beloved figure among the other nations. Despite being a clumsy, absent-minded, and occasional crybaby, his love for art, cooking, and socializing allows him to maintain many friendly bonds throughout the cast.
