Hachiemon

Hachiemon, often called Hachi, is a shape-shifting tanuki with a close bond to the monk Miroku. While he once used illusions to impersonate Miroku for his own mischief, he eventually became a vital ally to InuYasha’s traveling companions. This clever raccoon-dog frequently risks his life to ferry the group through dangerous territories or away from certain death, serving as a reliable mode of transport despite his trickster nature.
