This elegantly groomed feline companion debuted in episode six with her master, Himeko, and holds a unique role in their unfolding story. Sapphire possesses a special ability to trigger Himeko's transformation through vocalizations when her tail is touched. Attempts to control this effect via collars proved ineffective, leading to unpredictable changes in Himeko's Princess-like traits based on the collars worn. Despite her vanity, she can be fiercely protective, though she shares a romantic history with Peach.
