Kai Shiden

As a prominent member of the White Base crew, this pilot initially lacks the bravery displayed by his fellow soldiers. Though he often prefers retreating from combat and spends much of his time flirting with women, he undergoes significant personal growth throughout the series. Overcoming his natural cowardice, he eventually finds the resolve necessary to take his place in the heat of battle as the dedicated pilot of the Guncannon.
