Makkuro-Kurosuke

These tiny, soot-covered creatures, known as soot sprites, are fuzzy, black entities with large, curious eyes. Initially appearing as shy residents of abandoned homes in My Neighbor Totoro, they later serve as industrious workers in the boiler room within Spirited Away. Despite their small, spherical forms, they possess incredible strength to lift heavy objects. These squeaky beings thrive on Kompeito candy and must remain busy with tasks to avoid dissolving back into mere dust.
