Hermes Costello entered Green Dolphin Street Prison by choice, motivated solely by the need to find whoever murdered her sister, Gloria. To survive the prison's internal conflicts, she formed a necessary alliance with Jolyne Cujoh. Hermes uses her Stand, Kiss, to apply specialized stickers that create physical duplicates of objects and living beings, a tool she relies on while hunting Sports Maxx.
