Hayao Kakizaki

A member of the Vermilion Squadron, this pilot brings a lighthearted and often humorous element to the series. Flying a VF-1A Valkyrie, he is known for his laid-back demeanor, which sometimes puts him in precarious situations during battles against the Zentradi. As the least experienced pilot among his squadmates, he often requires the intervention of his commanding officers to survive the intense combat.
