Though he frequently scolds his leader for her airheaded antics, he harbors deep feelings for her and becomes incredibly flustered by any suggestive situations. Despite his "tsundere" nature and tendency to blush easily, he remains fiercely protective of Beelzebub, even demonstrating impressive combat skills when defending her from street thugs during a city outing.
