Sharing a striking resemblance to Yuya Sakaki, this mysterious figure frequently causes confusion, even leading Yuzu Hiragi to mistake him for Yuya in a costume. Because of their nearly identical features, he was initially identified only as "Unknown" during broadcasts. Known in promotional materials as the Dark Duelist and referred to by characters as the Dark Masked Duelist, his true identity remained a closely guarded secret until his eventual reveal in the series.
