A former classmate of Satoshi at the Melemele Island Pokémon School, this gentle student shares a deep bond with Water-type Pokémon. Living with her parents and twin sisters, Hō and Sui, she spends much of her time fishing or engaging in seafaring adventures. While primarily known for her calm, nurturing nature and protective instincts against Pokémon cruelty, she possesses a playful, joketelling side. Interestingly, her attempts at outrageous humor often result in her accidentally revealing the truth.
