Driven by an indomitable fighting spirit, this unnamed underground boxer struggles under a corrupt manager, Gansaku Nanbu, while forced to throw matches for survival. After being challenged by Yuri to enter the prestigious Megalonia Tournament, he adopts the alias "Joe" to compete. He rises to fame as "Gearless Joe," famously fighting without protection to climb the ranks. Alongside Nanbu and a young orphan named Sachio, he eventually forms the resilient group known as Team Nowhere.
