Kensuke Aida

An enthusiastic otaku and military enthusiast, this classmate of Shinji Ikari serves as a loyal friend to both Toji Suzuhara and the Eva pilots. Often seen filming with his camcorder, he spends his free time solo camping or reenacting historical battles. Driven by a naive dream to pilot an Eva himself, he frequently pressures Shinji for NERV connections, largely unaware of the pilots' immense psychological burdens. Despite his personal losses, he maintains a spirited, albeit oblivious, presence within the group.
