Yuno grew up in a church alongside his best friend, Asta. Their bond was solidified during an incident where a thug tried to steal Yuno's necklace, prompting Asta to step in and protect him. This moment changed Yuno’s trajectory; inspired by Asta's courage, he set his sights on becoming the Wizard King to match his friend's ambition.
