Mayuri Kurotsuchi

Mayuri Kurotsuchi serves as the Captain of the 12th Division and the second president of the Shinigami Research Institute. He took command after his predecessor, Kisuke Urahara, was exiled. Alongside his lieutenant, Nemu Kurotsuchi-an artificial being of his own creation-he continues a legacy of advanced scientific research. His mastery over biological experimentation makes him an essential, if unpredictable, member of the Gotei 13.
